The Intersectionality Between Faith & LGBTQ+

Exploring the relationship between faith and LGBTQ+ issues can lead to a new understanding of religious beliefs and deeper commitment to the church family.  Reverend Tanya Sadagopan  will discuss how LGBQ+ and religion the church can be an open and affirming place that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights.  Join us on March 18th from 6-8pm in the Hedberg Library Program Room.  For more information:  kcomeau@jm4c.org

Presenter:  Reverend Peder Johanson, Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Pastor Peder will explore with the audience places where gender, sexual orientation and faith intersect.  Participants will reflect on considerations and options for staying connected with family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues as we strive to become a loving and just community.

The event is open to the public.  Refreshments will be provided.
